Ark were engaged to undertake a major extension of the existing hotel to provide 58 additional bedrooms and a new purpose built leisure spa. Following completion of the work the Hotel was voted Hotel of the year and continues to lead the way as the premier business and weekend Leisure destination in the area.

Further development is already in the planning stage and approval has recently been granted for a new £1.2M purpose built Wedding Barn on the Hotel's adjoining Snelsmore site which accommodates the golf club and part of the existing 18 hole golf course.
